Jade Thacker is an independent curator, creative producer, and writer with emphasis on site-specific installations, performance events, and workshops exploring the sensorial, relational aesthetics, and social justice.

Thacker has supported the projects of artists including Matty Davis and  Ben Gould with a national performance tour of “Carriage”, as well as projects by Sarah Kinlaw, Ziemba, Caitlin Baucom, Amy Khoshbin, Kim Ye, Cara Levine, Suzanne Lacy, Ashley Hunt, and others. She has produced and presented projects with Open Engagement, Folie À Plusieurs, Matte Projects, Mana Contemporary, Mike Kelley Foundation for the Arts, MOCA Los Angeles, Machine Project, Movement Research, Creative Growth, Tom Tom Magazine, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and many more. Thacker’s freelance writing practice supports artists and creative organizations in completing ambitious creative visions and articulate compelling texts with conceptual clarity.

Originally from Los Angeles, Thacker currently resides in New York City.
